Large Arab style, double storey house with shuttering windows and lovely flat roof tops, for star gazing. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and one downstairs. The fourth bedroom is situated high in the canopy of the numerous trees surrounding the house. This room, with its' high pitched Makuti roof and waist high walls, sleeps four singles or can be reconfigured to accommodate a couple if required. All bedrooms have fans. There are small private upstairs verandas, lots of corridor space under the roof top, with day beds strategically placed, and a large open air roof sitting area. Downstairs, there is an inside lounge and dining area, with enclosed corridors and veranda space. The pool is situated in a small garden and the plot is within walking distance (350 metres) of the Silversands beach. There are 2 staff members but no cook. Sentry security provides security for the house and the buttons are located within. |

Malindi conjures up visions of a great historic town that has journeyed through ages. Malindi has got various woodcarvers who can make very unique furniture and also the famous Lamu beds. There are also local tour guides to take you around to exotic places you have never seen before! Given that Malindi is a seaside resort, do not forget to go out swimming in the warm waters, go deep sea fishing or visit the marine park alongside sunbathing and other beach sports in this lovely aquatic paradise. Various activities, religious, cultural and other activities which involve the whole of Malindi community do take place and tourists are invited to attend such functions and have a feeling of being part of the community, for example, participation in beach cleaning, tree planting and religious festivals. |
