This spacious 2 bedroom apartment with nearby large communal pool and tennis courts, set in the Teulada hills has stunning sea views over orange groves and vineyards towards both Moraira and Javea. The apartment is on the lower of two levels and is accessed via a few steps to the side of the building. Pass though the gate on the pathway and enter via a screen door onto the spacious sun terrace. Here you can take in the stunning sea views over the local countryside towards both Moraira and Javea. Enter the apartment from the terrace under the Naya and you'll find yourself in the main living area. There are four armchairs to relax on and 'Free to Air' Sat TV & DVD Player for your entertainment. The dining area is to your right with table and chairs for four. The kitchen is located to the rear and appliances include hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge freezer. There is a washing machine located in the utility room behind the kitchen. Pass the dining area and you'll find the first of the two large twin bedrooms on your right, with wonderful views through the window. Adjacent to this bedroom is the the family bathroom. To your left is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and private secluded terrace with sea views. Within a minute's easy walk is the gated communal pool and children's pool with ample sun terraces to relax on. There are also two tennis courts available to use adjacent to the pool area. This communal area also benefits from having toilet / changing facilities and a payphone. The nearby town of Teulada is within a 3 minute drive / 15 minute walk with all the facilities you'd expect. There are also bus routes to Calpe, Javea and Moraira to be found here as well as the local train station with regular trains to Denia, Benidorm & Alicante

About the area around Moraira

Moraira is situated in the beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca. The resort is conveniently placed between the airports of Alicante and Valencia (about 90km from each). However, the surrounding area has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful and unspoilt scenery and many small villages to explore. The two main local gently-shelving sandy beaches, awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness, are well tended and very safe for family bathing. In fact the whole of the Costa Blanca has 34 Blue Flag beaches. Other local leisure facilities include 3 large Golf courses, tennis, football, squash, all water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding, go-kart racing tracks for both adults and children, a small fairground and three good night-clubs for all ages. There are too many restaurants of interest and good quality to list here but we can mention that there are 8 Michelin recommended restaurants in the immediate area with three of them being star rated and not expensive either. Moraira enjoys a typical subtropical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection by surrounding mountains against the cold North winds in winter. The area averages nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature easily exceeds 20 degrees. In 1986 the World Health Organisation recommended the climate of the area as one of the most equitable in the world - neither too hot in the summer nor too cold in the winter. On average it can boast 325 sunny days each year making it an ideal all year round destination.
