This holiday home is situated within a gated community at the prestigious Playa El Arenal Complex. Enjoying a prime position with views over the sea and mountains, it is superbly located for relaxing holidays, and is only minutes away from the famous Puerto Banus, Marbella and Nikki Beach. For the golfers, both Marbella Golf Club and Santa Clara Golf Club are just across the road. There are golf courses galore! Rio Real, Aloha, Las Brisas and Los Naranjos are to name but a few, and within a 30-40 minutes drive is the world famous Valderrama and Sotogrande. The house has a light and airy open lounge with all the facilities, including TV, Sky Satellite, and a dining area with a modern feel to it. Large table and six chairs. The lounge opens out to a large patio with glass top table and six comfy chairs which then leads to the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, cooker, large fridge/freezer and this then opens out to the back patio. It is fully air conditioned, all the floors are marble, and all bedrooms open out onto patios. All the bedrooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. The two front bedrooms have spectacular views of the sea. A change of linen and towels are carried out every 7 days. The back patio is paved, and a large family barbecue awaits! The communal swimming pool has a childrens splash pool and is surrounded by sub tropical plants. For the sun worshippers, there are loungers on the private, fully enclosed solarium. From here, there are fantastic views overlooking the sea and mountains. The beach and beach bars are only a minutes walk away.

About the area around Marbella

Once part of the kingdom of Granada Marbella got its name from the Moors who called it Marbilha. It was not until the 20th century that the march of tourism transformed the town into one of the world's leading tourist resorts. Now a playground for the rich and famous the delights of Marbella are open to all. This area is to the north of the main road and is a delightful honeycomb of narrow streets sheltering the walker from the sun. Homes, shops, restaurants and bars jostle with each other to claim your attention in competition with the colours of the tropical plants against the white buildings and the deep blue of the sky. Some important buildings too, the Town Hall, the 16th century Magistrates House and the town's first Christian Chapel, Santiago's. Close by there is the Castle. Dating back to the 9th century it was within these walls that Marbella was first formed. Now to the south side of the main street and the Alameda Park where you can explore the town in splendour by horse and carriage or, if it is Monday, spend a few euros at the very colourful weekly market. A little further and just a gentle stroll along the Avenida del Mar are the beaches, 26 kilometres in all.
