About the area around Estepona

Estepona is an excellent location when visiting the Costa del Sol - whilst it is growing in size and popularity, much of the Spanish village charm still remains as the local government are happy to provide beautiful gardens and plants throughout the area. The location is also good for those who wish to explore the Costa del Sol and Andalucia as you are more or less in the centre of everything. Seville, Granada, Cordoba and Gibraltar are all in easy reach as a day trip. At the Western end on the Costa del Sol some 20 kms from Marbella; the town of Estepona has successfully maintained its Pueblo character despite the rigours of tourism. With a population of around 50,000 people, this busy town with its narrow, steep cobbled streets is a pleasure to explore.
