5 bedroom detached villa that is divided into 2 separate self-contained apartments making it particularly suitable for a large group or two families holidaying together. During some periods each apartment can be rented individually. The villa has a private garden with garden furniture and nearby is a large community pool, with shallow section for children, two tennis courts, a basket ball court, a bar, three restaurants and a supermarket with excellent bodega and delicatessen. Situated close to Moraira beach and village this is an ideal base for exploring the Costa Blanca coast and countryside in this beautiful part of Spain. The ground floor has three bedrooms, one double and two twin bedded, a lounge/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and patio. The first floor also has two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded, a lounge/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and balcony. Each of the twin bedrooms can take an extra bed making the total sleeping capacity 12 people. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and there are portable fans elsewhere. Casa Bernia Vista is situated on The Pueblo Alcasar, between Benitachell and Moraira with Moraira beach less than 10 minutes drive! It is a very pretty, private development, which is built in the customary Spanish Pueblo style. The setting is secluded but not remote and offers magnificent panoramic views of distant mountains, vineyards, orange groves and almond trees. There is an exceptionally large swimming pool with a childrens shallow end in the summer approximately 75 metres from the villa. There are two tennis courts and a basket ball court. There are two restaurants (including one by the pool) and a supermarket within a short walk and several other restaurants supermarkets on the way into Moraira.

About the area around Moraira

Moraira is situated in the beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca. The resort is conveniently placed between the airports of Alicante and Valencia (about 90km from each). However, the surrounding area has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful and unspoilt scenery and many small villages to explore. The two main local gently-shelving sandy beaches, awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness, are well tended and very safe for family bathing. In fact the whole of the Costa Blanca has 34 Blue Flag beaches. Other local leisure facilities include 3 large Golf courses, tennis, football, squash, all water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding, go-kart racing tracks for both adults and children, a small fairground and three good night-clubs for all ages. There are too many restaurants of interest and good quality to list here but we can mention that there are 8 Michelin recommended restaurants in the immediate area with three of them being star rated and not expensive either. Moraira enjoys a typical subtropical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection by surrounding mountains against the cold North winds in winter. The area averages nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature easily exceeds 20 degrees. In 1986 the World Health Organisation recommended the climate of the area as one of the most equitable in the world - neither too hot in the summer nor too cold in the winter. On average it can boast 325 sunny days each year making it an ideal all year round destination.
