This lovely apartment has been furnished to a high standard to help make your stay a comfortable one. The lounge has a sofa and armchair, as you can see from the photographs and makes for a very comfortable afternoon siesta! Satellite TV has been installed and there is also a DVD player, CD player & ipod docking station should you want a quiet evening in. Air conditioning has just been fitted so you can be sure that during the very hottest weather you can keep cool when you step inside. As the apartment is our holiday home, we’ve made sure that the right utensils are in place in the kitchen, in particular a set of sharp knives, a full dinner service & glassware. We’ve included some summer cook books (to give you inspiration with the BBQ food!) and some new fluffy towels for a little bit of added luxury. From the front door, you enter the living space, with the kitchen to your left and lounge straight ahead, there are patio doors with electric shutters leading directly on to the private patio. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with everything you would expect, fridge, microwave & washing machine. The hob is halogen, very efficient and easy to keep clean during your stay. There is plenty of preparation and storage space in the kitchen and the inventory includes good quality saucepans (with lids!), serving dishes, large dinner plates and plenty more. The sunlight streams in to the lounge area through the patio doors but you have the option of pulling the curtains across and switching on the air conditioning if you prefer a cooler room. The sofa has plenty of cushions for maximum comfort and with satellite television, a dvd player and a small selection of magazines, books & games you can be sure that everyone will be kept entertained. The bedroom area has a Kingsize bed and a fitted double wardrobe, there are bedside tables with lamps. The bed linen is cool cotton, essential for summer stays and you will find extra blankets in the wardrobe if you are holidaying outside the peak summer months or prefer a warmer bed! The newly refitted bathroom has a large walk in shower with glass screen, large basin & wc. The patio garden has a table and chairs for al fresco dining and sun loungers and a parasol. The Pueblo of Bellaluz is centrally located within the resort, it has two private swimming pools for the use of Bellaluz guests. In the summer months the poolside bar serves drinks & light snacks. In Bellaluz Plaza there is a good selection of shops, these include a supermarket, pharmacy and a selection of boutiques. |

La Manga Club Resort is the very popular sports and leisure holiday resort, the 1400 acre world class resort has a wealth of sport & leisure facilities. The Mar Menor is Europes largest saltwater lagoon, with over 73km of shallow water. It can be seen as a vast natural swimming pool with temperatures conducive to year round bathing. Its mineral rich waters and thermal mud draws people from all over Europe to help ease arthritis and rheumatism. Flamingos can often be seen in the waters. Cabo De Palos: This quaint fishing village is famous for its stone built lighthouse and is a great area for scuba diving. After wondering around the pretty harbour, watching the fish being landed, enjoy lunch in one of the many seafood restaurants around the harbour. There is a busy Sunday morning market in the village. From here you can drive to La Manga Strip. La Manga Strip: This lively 17 km long peninsular separates the Mediterranean sea from the Mar Menor with fabulous beaches on both sides. The strip is renowned for its nightlife, with bars, clubs & restaurants. Pay a visit to the Thomas Maestro Port and view the fabulous yachts, while sampling a glass of wine in the bars overlooking the marina. Los Belones: The closest town to La Manga Club, Los Belones has a great selection of restaurants. Visit the Pyramid Centre for a lively evening out. Dine at one of the many restaurants set around the courtyard and enjoy the live music. (in summer months). La Cueva Bodega is well worth a visit to sample some fantastic Spanish wines & cheeses. They also offer a delivery service. Catagena: This ancient Roman port is the second most important city in the region and the centre of the Mediterranean maritime department. This port boasts the ruins of a Roman theatre, archaeological museums, plus military & modernist exhibits and architecture. The city is home to the first submarine in the world ever to be launched. The city offers a superb selection of shops, including El Corte Ingles. Murcia is the regions capital, dominated by its magnificent cathedral featuring some of the greatest examples of Spanish Baroque & Renaissance art. |
