As you step through the front door, enjoy the spaciousness of the living room and dining area. Two sets of sliding patio doors open onto the wide terrace, which becomes your extended living area. The terrace offers a variety of views as you move along from the covered 'naya', which contains the outdoor dining area, past the indoor dining area, and around the corner to the secluded and peaceful mature garden. Walking down the steps from the terrace and garden takes you to a large downstairs patio, where you can enjoy reading your favourite book amidst the palms and bougainvillea and look up to the peak of the Sierra Bernia mountain range. Barbecue down in the patio or up on the terrace. Watch the sun set over the peaks of the mountain range and wait for Altea and the surrounding area below to light up. You can't beat sitting on the terrace at night after your sumptuous barbecue of local fish delicacies, feeling your cares slip away, mesmerised by the shimmering lights of Altea and La Nucia, and the sound of the cicadas. Look out for the fireworks in Altea on festival days. Deneilian is fortunate to have perhaps the most beautiful of the Altea Hills swimming pools almost on its doorstep. In high season, there is a lifeguard. The pool is split into a main pool and kids' pool by a bridge and waterfall. Lie out on the lawns sloping down to the pool in the well-tended gardens, which command spectacular views.
The kitchen is well equipped and overlooks the garden. The adjoining area contains the washing machine. There is a guest WC upstairs. Downstairs, you will find the bedrooms - the master bedroom contains the double bed and en suite bathroom. The other bathroom downstairs contains a walk in shower, WC, basin and bidet. The bedrooms have sliding patio doors opening onto the downstairs patio - so you can fall straight out of bed and into the sunshine. Please note that as a courtesy to guests who arrive after you, we ask that you do not smoke inside the property. Most people prefer to smoke outside anyway, so we hope this does not cause any inconvenience.

About the area around Altea

Altea one of the most beautiful towns along the Costa Blanca with about 15 000 habitants can be reached using the A7 highway. About 15km north of Benidorm, Altea is one of the few towns which maintained most of the former fishing village flair of the past times. Famous for its church Nuestra Senora del Consuelo or Virgen de Consuelo with its fantastic looking blue roof. One of the view places along the Coast, Altea centre still gives you this kind of Spanish village feel. The town of Altea feels a little bit divided due to the passing of the national road N-332 which separates Altea a little bit from its beach and harbour area. If you visit or stay in Altea, you should also visit the little villages around; especially La Nucia to the north of Altea with its Sunday market is worth a nice day trip. The 5 km of beaches along Altea are divided into different sections. The Cap Negret north of Altea, followed by the La Roda and the Cap Blanc to the south. Along the yacht harbour you will find the beaches of Pueblo Macarat. Situated on a steep hillside a short walk from the sea, with stunning views over the Bay of Altea, it is a town steeped in history and has long been a popular retreat for artists, sculptors and writers. With the recent addition of the University of Culture and Fine Arts and a new concert hall Altea has been bestowed the official title of the 'Cultural Capital of the Valencian region'. The town centre is a treasure trove of shops, craft galleries, restaurants and little white-washed buildings adorned with flowers - all waiting to be discovered in the winding and cobbled medieval lanes, look for the famous blue-domed church of the Virgin de Consuelo at the top of these lanes; it is well worth the walk, the views from the top overlooking the bay of Altea with the mountain backdrop are nothing short of spectacular!
