Rooftop terrace and apartment for two in a whitewashed Spanish pool villa high on the hill in large garden and with panorama sea- and mountain view. Pool. The villa that houses this apartment on its top floor is privately owned by a retired couple. They speak English and also take care of the preparation and cleaning of your accommodation. The apartment has a combined living / bedroom with a very large and comfortable sofa bed. The location is in an exclusive, quiet villa quarter of Denia, just minutes from the old town and port area but far enough not to hear the noise of downtown. The pool is semi-private but you will usually have exclusive use except at times that the house owners (a retired couple) are present. The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 2 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use. The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. The apartment has television satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. There is room for 2 in the living room and 2 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils. The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a east facing patio area, a west facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking.

About the area around Denia

Denia possesses one of the most important harbours of the area, with ferry connections to Ibiza, Mallorca and others. This and the huge fishing fleet have made Denia a very prosperous city over the past years. One of the most visited tourist attractions of Denia is the castillo (castle). The castle built in the 11th and 12th century offers a wonderful view around the sea, the city and the backlands. Within the castle you will find the Palau del Governador with its museum. Along with the other interesting museums in Denia, the Museo Etnologico will give you further details on the rich history and culture of Denia. The main road of Calle de Marques de Campo runs through the centre of Denia, here you will find many bars and little restaurants. Make sure you test some of the excellent cakes and sweets of local confectionery and bakery shops, Denia is famous for them. If you are spend your holidays in Denia, we recommend you take a boat round trip to Javea, Altea and Benidorm. Not to be missed. Denia offers something to everybody: sandy beaches, spectacular rocky coves, colourful  fiestas (no other town in Spain has more of them), five nearby 18-hole golf courses designed, among others, by Spanish world class players Seve Ballesteros and José María Olazábal and a million possibilities to enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. Year after year, Denia's beaches have been awarded the prestigious "Blue Flag of Europe".  Las Marinas, situated to the north, boasts 15 km of fine, un crowded, sandy beaches - ideal for swimming, wind surfing or sunbathing, while to the south of town, the rocky beaches and coves of Las Rotas with the nearby Marine Reserve of the Cape of San Antonio are a paradise for scuba divers. Dozens of fine restaurants and literally hundreds of tapas bars will satisfy even your wildest cravings. Situated at the foot of the majestic Montgó mountain, Denia's setting amidst lemon and orange groves is truly spectacular. Nature lovers may enjoy scenic walks in the Montgó Natural Park, home to a variety of species which are unique to this ecosystem, while more adventurous hikers will climb all the way up to the mountain top. At a height of 753m above sea level, breathtaking views will reward the exhausted hiker. On clear days, the rocky silhouette of the island of Ibiza may be visible at the horizon and invite the visitor to board the new super-fast ferry which connects Denia and the island in just two hours.
