Cabo Roig has two main
beaches, Cala Capitan and Cala Caleta, a third, Playa de la Regia, can
also be reached by walking south of Cabo Roig. The beaches are set
in a bay so are very safe for bathing and the waters are normally very
calm. Cala Capitan is the quieter of the two with a small beach bar.
Cala Caleta is situated next to the prestigious Cabo Roig Marina, and
has a beach bar and also some water sports. The marina also has an
excellent good value restaurant and is only a few steps from the beach
itself. The beaches can be reached from all Cabo Roig holiday rentals
with 15 minutes walk even on the San Jose side across the main road.
