Costa de Almeria (Coast of Almeria) has 190km of coastline of fine sands and coves and is protected by mountains and cliffs, where the Cabo de Gata Natural Park is located, making Costa de Almeria the ideal holiday destination for those who seek tourism and nature. Almeria is the capital of the province and is situated in the middle of the bay of Costa de Almeria. Costa de Almeria and has been widely visited because of its beautiful landscape and good geographical location.

Mojacar, Spain is located in the region of Almeria on the Costa Calida. This beautiful Moorish town (Mojacar Pueblo) of hillside whitewashed buildings and cobbled streets is located between the mountains of the Sierra Cabrera and the waters of the Mediterranean. Mojacar is the largest and most popular holiday destination of this southeastern corner of Spain. Visit the white sandy beaches of Mojacar Playa for some sun. Roquetas, once a sleepy, charming fishing village, still retains its Moorish alley streets and white-washed houses along the hillsides. This town is quickly modernizing with its complexes and tall buildings because tourism is one of its biggest economies. Roquetas has an 18-hole golf course (at Playa Serena) and a specially designated nudist beach. Visit the medieval Castilla de Santa Ana and other fortifications in the area for a historical adventure. Nature-lovers can head to the close by Las Marinas salt marsh and Punta Entinas beaches where birds gather in flocks.

There is a never-ending list of activities to do here: paraglide or hand glide through the blue skies; horse ride, trek or cycle along defined and off road routes; sail along the coastline and into the many coves around; scuba dive in the clear waters of protected water reserves; golf on one of the all year golf courses; shop cheaply in the markets of complexes; have your pick of the best Spanish food in the many restaurants and laid back bars; explore the historical towns of Costa de Almeria; simply work on that tan on "Spain's forgotten coast" - Costa de Almeria.

 The weather in Costa de Almeria is Mediterranean: warm and dry throughout the year, with little rain and a large number of hours of sun a year. Temperatures range between 13º C and 25º C all year round. This is said to be the area with the best weather in Spain.
