Uniquely designed in African Swahili style, Dream luxury cottages have been created in a unique tropical forest on the southern coast of Kenya close to the Indian Ocean.  Built on a one acre tropical garden, each cottage ensures the ultimate in privacy and space. making a unique and private resort created in an idyllic forest setting. The private cottages feature exclusive furniture and artistic design which make comfort our first priority in a special living area surrounded by nature. Wander in the magnificent gardens alongside a Japanese fish pond hosting brilliantly coloured Koi fish or sip cocktails while basking in the sun next to the custom designed pool and waterfall. A unique rock formation features a waterslide to slip into the cool water before swimming over to the pool bar where staff await with refreshments to escape the heat of the sun. Next to the pool relax and play a round of billiards under an open cabana or challenge your friends to a round of tennis or volleyball at the courts surrounded by the sounds of nature. Eat at the spectacular restaurant or simply relax while your private chef cooks at the cottage and serves meals in the privacy of your own veranda. Featuring a variety of fresh ingredients from the area and can work with you to create an array of culinary delights to your desire. The cottages also include satellite TV, air conditioning, overhead fans by the bed, mosquito nets, reading lights, telephone, and laundry services. A fast internet connection is available for your use should you require it. The staff offer concierge services to arrange for activities outside of the complex; kite surfing, sailing, fishing, guided forest walks, safaris, horse riding, snorkelling, diving, quad driving, shopping, massage and spa services, yoga, golf and visiting secret locations of beauty and allure. The staff can arrange for transportation, guides and local services to any and all locations in Kenya.

Relax at the unique pool, equipped with an underwater sound system and massage jets. You may swim up to the pool bar and enjoy a refreshing drink while the sound of the waterfall flows in the background, keeping the pool cool in the hot seasons. Climb the rocks to the big waterslide and splash into the four meter deep end of the pool. Lounge on sun-beds poolside with a book until you fall asleep to the sounds of water and the heat of the sun. Wander over to the billiards table for a game before lunch, and take a dip in the cool water afterwards. All of this makes your day at the pool a fun and unforgettable experience.

 The resort offers a private and communal environment for corporate retreats, management trainings, meetings, seminars and team building programs. The cottages were designed with community in mind, and the shared living spaces are perfect for discussion, research and dialog in a quiet and undisturbed location. the staff are happy to accommodate your business functions in many ways, from special events to relax and enjoy, or specially arranged meeting rooms for you to work together in privacy.  Leopard suite - Under a 1000 year old Baobab tree, the magnificent Leopard Suite inspires dreams of luxury and tranquillity. A three bedroom villa (max. 6 persons) features a master suite with an extra large living area and private designer bathroom. Two other bedrooms share a luxurious round bathtub for three people, hot shower, toilet and bidet.  Walking across the huge veranda, you cross over a Japanese bridge to enter a comfortable indoor living area where you can watch TV, share meals at our dining table, or relax on sofas to enjoy excellent views around the garden and Koi pond. The suite is open and airy with breezes which cool the living area, or you may choose to turn on the air conditioning for added comfort. The bedrooms were prepared with loving care; sleep on king size beds with pillows to rest your head, write your journal for the day at the desk in the living area, or read a book in the hammock swaying in the breeze. The Leopard Suite was designed with dreams of serenity in mind; comfort and relaxation were first and foremost in its design. The owner lived in this villa for many years and created it as a dream of tranquillity in paradise. The suite also includes a fully equipped kitchen and a covered parking space for two vehicles. 

Mongoose - The largest of the cottages, the Mongoose, offers six bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 people. It is truly an extraordinary experience for your group of friends, family or colleagues to be together in an idyllic location surrounded by nature.  The Mongoose master suite sits on the upper level, overlooking the forest below and provides a room of luxury and elegance to sleep and unwind. Large chairs to relax in beside the king size bed, a bath and shower with hot water and windows which open to allow fresh breezes and sunlight to filter in make this a tranquil setting to dream in. Attached to the bedroom is a living area where you may enjoy some peaceful quiet time away from the rest of your group. Also on the upper level, three more luxury double bedrooms are available, all with private bathrooms en-suite. At ground level there are two double bedrooms (single beds) with an attached bathroom and shower as well as a large, fully equipped kitchen. The Mongoose cottage was designed with a group in mind featuring a spacious communal area where people can enjoy a gathering in your own private tropical forest. This is our most popular cottage for groups of people, and is a getaway for dreaming in a collective setting.

Colobus - The Colobus cottage is a two bedroom, air conditioned cottage named after the local inhabitant, the Colobus monkey. Friendly and open, the monkeys kindly share their forest with the resort so they felt compelled to pay tribute by naming this wonderful cottage for four people Colobus. Each bedroom includes a private bathroom with hot shower and fans over the beds to cool you off at night. The villa is fully air conditioned if you desire. A large round kitchen with dining table is built around a shared living veranda for meals and relaxation. A short walk through your private garden brings you to the swimming pool and restaurant, but as you look from your veranda you will believe you are alone in the forest except for the occasional visit by a Sykes or Colobus monkey. 

Bush Baby - The Bush Baby cottage is also named after our local mischievous primate, the Bush Baby. Featuring two large, air conditioned bedrooms, a kitchen and spacious shared veranda, this cottage can comfortably accommodate up to four people. One bedroom has a separate bathroom and the other en-suite. The veranda has large sofas under a covered rooftop which the breezes waft through in the evenings to cool things down. The resident Bush Baby may visit you around dinner time, but is nocturnal so keep your night vision peeled catch a glimpse of him in the early evening. 

Fish Eagle - Fish Eagle cottage features five bedrooms of beauty and allure. On the ground level the master suite includes a separate living area from the bedroom while the bathroom includes a large Jacuzzi to ease away tired muscles. Also on the ground floor are two double bedrooms (single beds) including bathrooms en-suite with separate entrances. Two other luxurious double bedrooms with living areas and bathrooms en-suite are located on the first floor with incredible views overlooking the forest. Ten people can comfortably accommodate Fish Eagle and still retain private accommodation away from our other cottages. The shared living area/veranda has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a great place to gather during mealtime. A short walk through the forest brings you to the main pool, restaurant and bar area.

Sultan - Sultan’s palace is designed with an Arabian atmosphere in mind, providing the peak of luxury as a Sultan desires. This unique house provides complete privacy and luxury for up to 9 people featuring your own private swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and shaded/sunny terraces. The Sultan master suite on the first floor includes a bathroom in mosaic with a Jacuzzi to relax in. A private veranda overlooks the beautiful forest as you relax in luxurious chairs and read a book. A kitchenette provides the master suite with food and drink, which is connected to a private living area separate from the bedroom. The bedroom, fit for a Sultan, has a king size pedestal bed and is decorated with the mystery and elegance of Arabian knights, candles and soft lighting add to the calm and tranquil atmosphere of the room. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with attached bathrooms en-suite and a private entrance to the pool. The second floor is designed with another en-suite double bedroom which has a private veranda encircling the house for you to view the forest from all directions. The top floor is a sunset veranda, a magnificent area for cocktails looking over the forest below to the Shimba Hills as the sun sets. This chilled out veranda is a special place that you will never forget, a place to meet and greet the sunrise and sunset while celebrating the magic of life. Separate from the main house is a fully equipped kitchen and indoor air-conditioned dining room, built around a private Arabian-style pool. Flower petals float gently in the pool while you dine on culinary delights hand-delivered by your private chef. Retire poolside or in the sunset veranda to end your day with laughter and relaxation at the Sultan house.

 Make your visit an even more exciting stay by joining one of the activities. The concierge service can arrange specialized safari trips to the nearby Shimba Hills elephant sanctuary or a trip to Tsavo east or west for an amazing safari. Take a private plane to the amazing Masa Mara from the resorts local airstrip in Diani or simply have an aerial look at the coast and plains of Kenya for the day. The concierge service dreams with you to make dreams come true. Experience the beautiful landscape of Africa as you have never seen it before from the basket of a hot air balloon drifting serenely over the land. Dine in the wild at carefully prepared sites under the great big stars of the evening sky. View sunsets as animals cross the plains, or seek out new and exciting adventures which can only be experienced in Kenya. Visit the local village and shop for items to bring home with you or go on one of the nature /bird walks guided by local experts. If adventure is your desire, have a go at canoeing in the Tiwi or Ramisi River or go kite surfing in the Indian Ocean on Diani beach. Dive in crystal clear waters or snorkel in the shallows viewing tropical fish and coral. Sail on original dhows and experience deep sea fishing on the guided trips. Or go quad riding in the nearby hills and dry river beds after Jet Skiing in the ocean.  If relaxing is more your style, the staff can arrange golf at Kenya’s finest 18 hole golf course, 10 minutes away from the complex. Massage service can come to you in the privacy of your cottage as well, a great way to end a day of adventure and fun before sunset and dinner.

Josephine, the General Manager and Juma, her assistant are there to assist you at all times, and will make your stay at the resort a success. The garden and pool areas are maintained daily to ensure a clean, hygienic, sanitary experience for visitors. They also employ housing staff for the cottages which are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. A private chef or driver is optional during your stay. The main kitchen is close to the restaurant and pool area from where the skilled staff can serve you quickly. Rest assured that security is also important during your stay. In addition to the resorts own gated community, they have a full time staff of security personnel accompanied by Dina, a one year old Rothweiler who makes his rounds with the security staff, day and night. A hospital is within 7km for any emergencies which may arise, and a local airstrip in Diani can deliver you anywhere in Kenya at a moments notice. The airport in Mombasa accommodates large passenger jets and daily flights from several locations in East Africa. Kenya Airways is the first choice for bookings into Mombasa.

Here you'll find white beaches, palm trees and coral reefs to explore by day and clubs to wade through by night. Those preferring the quiet life and whose aim it is to get away from sun-starved Europeans should reconsider a visit. Having said this, there is lovely bird watching at the Tiwi River, located near the Indian Ocean beach club, and in the south the beach experience does become more tranquil.
