Guardamar has many attractions including the magnificent Guardamar castle as well as the Reina Sofia park where there are lakes and trails with a wide variety of peacocks, ducks and birds roaming freely about. Guardamar has some lovely pine forest for walks and at the north end of the beach there are large picnic areas. Guardamar is also just a short drive from one of the largest water parks in Costa Blanca.
