The small village of Haveringland is near to Aylsham and within easy reach of the Norfolk Broads and Norwich International Airport. Haveringland church, St Peter, is a flint church with a round Norman tower. Haveringland is set amidst parkland and once stood Haveringland Hall. There are remains and the Coach House has been beautifully restored as a holiday retreat. Within the grounds is a fishing lake for any keen anglers well stocked with carp and other fresh water fish, tickets are available at the lake. A visit to Haveringland would not be complete without a visit to the local public house, The Ratcatchers, highly recommended for its excellent food.
