Hickling is large village on the Norfolk Broads, close to the A149 road. The village is 20 miles north east of the city of Norwich, 15 miles north west of Great Yarmouth and only 2 miles from the beautiful north Norfolk coast. Hickling Broad is Norfolk’s largest broad and is one of the homes of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. Hickling church, St Mary’s, was built in the 13th century. Hickling has a fantastic public house with views of the broad, serving fantastic food its a superb spot to watch the boats go by while you have lunch. Children are welcome.
