all amenities and the beautiful stretch of beach at L'Escala. L’Escala’s
appeal stems from both its charming atmosphere and delightful
location. The wide, sandy beaches of Riells and Montgo are within a
short walk of any L’Escala villa rental, and are delightfully
attractive places to relax and feel the soft sand beneath your feet.
All the beaches in the area have been awarded the European Blue Flag
for safety and cleanliness, so you can be safe in the knowledge that
any beach you manage to find from your L’Escala holiday
accommodation will be suitable for bathing. The L’Escala marina is
easily found at the front of the town, and is the main location from
which you will find water sports facilities from an apartment in
L’Escala. Sailing lessons and boat hire can be arranged from here as
well as windsurfing, scuba diving, water skiing, deep sea fishing and
scenic boat trips. Behind the town, the open countryside is perfect
for taking a brisk walk after a large meal in one of the fresh seafood
restaurants around the marina. Within a few miles is the third largest
wetland area in Spain, which attracts an enormous number of bird
species, making it a magnificent place to walk. Within an hour’s
