Located only a 1000m from the main famous Golf Course of Madeira, in Santo da Serra, it is surrounded by a spectacular garden, where the trees almost touch the sky. The house itself, provides a complete and wonderful stay to its guests, as comfort was the first and prior care of the owners. Every simple detail has been considered, and on the arrival at the house, no one can be indifferent. Located in a small villa in the country, only 8kmt away from the airport, activities like tennis, golf, horsing, walking levadas, boat trips, and other sea sports can be carried away. Casa da Lena is 800mts far from the centre of the village, where you can find 3 supermarkets, bakery, restaurants with take away, church, medical centre, and every Sunday ,a very complete and visited market. Either in the gardens or in the house, it is difficult to find a place with such a high level of beauty, peace, and harmony. This detached villa, has a very comfortable sitting room, with an open fire, 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and 1 single), one bathroom, a full equipped kitchen connecting with the dinning room, and all this in one floor. You can park your car just by the door, and the marvellous gardens are of a great joy. As this is a typical Quinta da Madeira, which means gardens surrounding all the house, you won´t be disturbed by neighbours who are at least 100 meters from the house. The recent motorways, allows you to be in a few minutes in any part of the Island you want to know. Only 800 meters from the house, you can find the village of Santo Antonio da Serra, and there all kind of amenities you may need during your stay.

About the area

Located in the middle of the mountains, it stands in the centre of everything. From there, you can go either to a mountain walk or through one of our wonderful Levadas. All the north and east part of the Island, can be reach from Santo da Serra, and in a minute you can be either in the up hill, like Pico do Areeiro, or in the other by the sea in one of our beaches. If you would prefer to reach a more distant place, like the natural pools of Porto Moniz, you can take the Via Rapida, and you will see how close it gets .Funchal, which is the capital of Madeira, can also be easily reached by Via Rapida, and it is where you can find shopping centres, cinemas, and everything that has to do with big cities. If you prefer a more quiet place, you must go to Caniçal, famous for it´s grilled fish and only a few minutes away from Santo da Serra. It is also recommended to visit the Natural Park in Santana, where you can spend the whole day. But remember Golf is just by the door, you don´t have to leave at all.
