Casa Mariposa - Montgo -  Javea Holiday Rental (Sleeps 12 + 2)

 Peacefully set in 5,000 square metres of land in the area of Javea known as Benimadroc.   Most of the accommodation is around three sides of a courtyard, the large, open-plan living room with integral kitchen, and four of the bedrooms having glazed doors opening directly onto wide terraces and the courtyard.  On the first floor, accessed by an attractive, broad spiral staircase from the living room, is a further bedroom with en suite bathroom, and on a lower level with private, independent access, is a charming self-contained, one bedroom apartment. The wide, shaded courtyard terrace is furnished with a hardwood dining suite, cushioned recliners, and upholstered cane furniture. There is ample parking at the front of the house, from where an imposing antique door leads into the entrance lobby of the living room.

Bedrooms : 3 with double beds, 3 with twin beds. All beds 2 metres in length. Fans. Maximum occupancy 12 adults + 2 children. There are beds for 12. Apartment has a small sofa bed (supplementary linen charge).

Two Bathrooms. 1 en suite bathroom, 2 en suite shower rooms (1 designed for a wheelchair). 2 more shower rooms.

Living Room : Large, open plan with fireplace. Sofas, easy chairs, dining table & chairs. Digital TV with a few English channels. 2 double glazed doors to terrace and courtyard. Staircase to upper bedroom. CD/tape player. VCR. Apartment living room has sofa bed.

Kitchen : Two, both fully equipped including dishwasher and microwave. Separate laundry room.

Outside : Pool, 10mx 4.5m. Lawn. Dining furniture, easy chairs, recliners. Brick-built BBQ. Steps to apartment & laundry room. Central heating. Internal/external wheelchair access including ramps.

Services : Villa cleaned between lets. Weekly linen change and refresher clean. Hand/bath towels provided, but please bring your swimming towels.

About the area around Javea

The Arenal is a wide sandy beach offering safe bathing, and beach and water sports, around which lies a wide promenade with bars, restaurants and shops – equally lively during the daytime and at night. The attractive port and historic old town of Javea are also most attractive areas, and well worth a visit, and two golf courses are just a short drive away.  Distances by car: Arenal beach 15 minutes. Javea old town 7 minutes, Javea port 10 minutes. La Sella Golf course 5 minutes. Bars and restaurants in the Montgo valley 2-4 minutes.

El Portet y L'Ampolla, Les Platgetes and L'Andragó are small, peaceful beaches. Eight kilometres of coastline, which start at Morro de Tamarit up to Punta de l'Estrella, surrounded by a sea that is always blue and warm.  Some have fine sand and shaped like a shellfish, like at El Portet and some are small coves made of small rocks for the enjoyment of the visitor who loves peacefulness. Moraira and its surrounding areas the commercial centre of the tourist area of Teulada and in this important tourist centre you can find every type of service.  The fishing port is in surprising contrast to the modern recreations offered to visitors. The highly impressive promontory of Cap d'Or is an attractive watchtower, from which a great part of the coastline of the Costa Blanca can be seen. The attraction and variety of our coastline allows us to take very interesting trips. Cap d'Or, in the extreme north is a magnificent point to take a walking trip to. There you will see the oldest remains of the prehistoric settlers and the TORRE VIGIA (Look-out Tower), one of the most photographed emblems of the Alicante coastline. In the port of Moraira you have Club Náutico where there is the sailing School and where they organize the Territorial Championship of Cruisers and Monotypes during Easter Week.
