This 2 bed property offers a real treat with its own lovely swimming pool and lots of Spanish character.  Situated in a more residential area it offers the guest the opportunity to take advantage of nearby beaches and a choice of 3 golf courses within a 10 minute radius but retain the peace and quite not always associated with tourist areas.  

Property Features

As soon as you walk through the door into the conservatory you immediately feel that you are going to get something more than the usual self catering experience.  This first and foremost is a home and it feels like a home.  With its traditional furnishings and a log burner for the cooler months you know you will soon be settling into a more relaxed and away from it all feeling that you will not want to give up easily. The lounge also has air conditioning.

The upper floor of the house is not accessible to guests so there are no stairs to worry about as you will effectively be staying in a bungalow.  All rooms have ceiling fans and the glazed panels of the conservatory can all be opened to take advantage of any distant sea breezes.  The conservatory will probably be the focal point for most guests and  the 3 seater settee and 2 wicker chairs will no doubt be where most time is spent when you are not outside enjoying the sunshine.  The dining table and 4 chairs are also situated in the conservatory.  The lounge offers more comfort in the form of 2 sofas and a an armchair.  This is also where the television is located and with UK TV and the sports channels this room may well see some activity if you can't live without your soaps or football.  A DVD player is also available.

The open kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, hob and combination microwave oven.  All the necessary cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery etc are all provided.

The remainder of the accommodation offers 2 bedrooms with wardrobes and side tables, 2 single beds and a double bed, and  a shower room with toilet and hand basin.

Outside there are countless places to sit, relax and enjoy the summer sunshine in between cooling off in the pool.  You will find a good choice of sun loungers, and external tables and chairs  located around the large garden and pool terrace.  There is a purpose built gas BBQ set in the outdoor kitchen which offers all the comforts of home with a fridge for cool drinks, microwave and an additional gas burner. The outdoor kitchen  under its shady pergola also offers respite for those in need a break between sessions in the sun.  A pond with fish offers another aspect to the garden and with a place to park your car you could really ask for much more. 

About the area around Villamartin

The location is another plus with the Villa Martin Plaza only a short walk away where you will find a supermarket, and doctors surgery together with a vast choice of restaurants and bars.

Villa Martin Golf Club is located next to the Plaza and if you have a car, Las Ramblas and Campoamor are only 10 minutes drive away.

For the beach lovers there is an endless choice along the nearby coast and the closest beach at La Zenia is one of the most popular and again is only 10 minutes away by car. 

This is a very popular area for traditional holiday makers and golfers .

Villamartin is an upmarket area, and is in an excellent location being very close to 3 main golf courses, and only a few minutes drive to superb sandy beaches. The Villamartin area also has very good local amenities, including a wide range of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and banks etc.    The impressive Villamartin Plaza contains over 20 restaurants varying from Italian, English, German, Spanish, Mexican, Austrian, Chinese, and French cuisine to name but a few, and these serve food both indoors and outside in the summer months in the delightful courtyard. For those not wishing to eat, there are also a number of bars within the vicinity.

Villamartin is also of course without doubt one of the finest golf and residential complexes on the whole of the Costa Blanca

Walk to local amenities including shop, bars, restaurants and Saturday market.  Short drive to a choice of beaches and 3 golf courses.  Easy access to the N332 coast road and the motorway opening up the whole of the Costa Blanca. 

  For those who enjoy larger towns and more historic surroundings, then Cartegena to the south or Alicante to the north are only 45 minutes drive away. The lovely university town of Murcia is also another place well worth a visit.  Alicante airport is 45 minutes away and San Javier (Murcia) airport is even closer at around 20 minutes. Activities in the area include golf with a choice of 3 local courses only 10 minutes away by car, beaches stretching the length of the nearby coastline, horse riding, go-karting, tennis and water sports. Scuba diving schools also operate in the area. If you really want to see more of what the area has to offer then family bike hire can be arranged and bikes delivered to the apartment. The nearby town of Torrevieja offers a host of shops down its main roads and side streets and the new Habaneras Shopping Centre next to Carrefour offers all of its shops in one location. The nearby Saturday market at Playa Flamenca is not to be missed.
