The lovely Orihuela Costa Resort is only a few minutes walk away where you can high sun beds and umbrellas whilst sitting on a grassed area surrounded by trees. There is large swimming pool and separate pool for children, bar that also serves meals, toilets, 3 tennis courts and a gym. Well worth a visit if you prefer a pool to the sea.

The lounge has a 3 seater settee and an armchair, coffee table, television and wall unit. In the dining area there is a table and 4 chairs. The kitchen is equipped with an oven & hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. There are also the usual kitchen utensils and place settings to allow for full self catering. The main bedroom has fitted wardrobes, a double bed and 2 bed side cabinets, The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a bedside cabinet. Both bedrooms have hot and cold metered air conditioning. The bathroom comes with a bath with shower attachment, bidet, w.c and wash hand basin. All bedding and towels are provided. The property also has sat TV with UK channels, alarm and security grills, external table and chairs. A free standing fan and an electric radiator are also provided. Outside the property has a private garden with a palm tree, bourganvillia and conifers. The communal pool is only 50 yards away off road parking is available. In addition to the choice of beaches along this part of the coast there are also 3 golf courses only 10 minutes away by car.

About the area around La Zenia

La Zenia is located between the towns of Cabo Roig and Playa Flamenca is the beautiful Costa Blanca resort of La Zenia. La Zenia is a popular and desirable holiday location. La Zenia boasts two excellent beaches, Cala Bosque and Cala Cerrada, both beaches have ‘blue flag’ status and are well cared for and maintained. La Zenia has a cliff walk to Cabo Roig, with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. La Zenia currently has a good range of shops, bars and restaurants and a new commercial centre is being developed which will greatly improve the range of facilities available for visitors to the area.

  For those who enjoy larger towns and more historic surroundings, then Cartegena to the south or Alicante to the north are only 45 minutes drive away. The lovely university town of Murcia is also another place well worth a visit.  Alicante airport is 45 minutes away and San Javier (Murcia) airport is even closer at around 20 minutes. Activities in the area include golf with a choice of 3 local courses only 10 minutes away by car, beaches stretching the length of the nearby coastline, horse riding, go-karting, tennis and water sports. Scuba diving schools also operate in the area. If you really want to see more of what the area has to offer then family bike hire can be arranged and bikes delivered to the apartment. The nearby town of Torrevieja offers a host of shops down its main roads and side streets and the new Habaneras Shopping Centre next to Carrefour offers all of its shops in one location. The nearby Saturday market at Playa Flamenca is not to be missed.
