Playa Taurito is situated on the south west coast of Gran Canaria, one of the Canary Islands, Spain. Playa Taurito is 2 - 3 km to the east of Puerto Mogan and to the west of Playa del Ingles. Playa Taurito is an elegant, purpose-built resort with an air of refinement which will suit those looking for a tranquil break. The hotels and accommodation are built on the steep sides of the narrow valley. At the valley bottom is the fabulous lido and park.

Its expansive lido area is particularly attractive - for a small entrance fee, you can enjoy sand-free sunbathing, a vast pool, and a palm-dotted ‘island’ complete with bridges and bars. Playa Taurito’s real beach of black sand is sheltered from the wind by headlands; it’s usually quite quiet, perfect for idling hours away with a good book. Alternatively, visit the man-made lake for a change of scenery.

Evenings in Playa Taurito are quiet, there are a few beach cafes here where you can enjoy a relaxed drink and neighbouring Puerto Mogan boasts a marina which offers a number of restaurants and bars. If you want to go shopping, head to nearby Playa del Ingles which has plenty of shopping complexes.
