This 2 bedroom fully-furnished ground floor apartment behind a private gate with shared garden is available for any length of stay. Your holiday rental is a self-contained, detached dwelling behind a private gate, sharing a garden with our family home. You will enjoy our flowered garden with equipment suitable for children up to age 7. Hunt in the bushes for our tortoise! Your apartment comprises one double bedroom, one bedroom with three single beds, a living room with three sofas, a dining area, a kitchen and bathroom with bath (complete with shower fitting). You will have your own fully-fitted kitchen with microwave, large gas oven and gas hob, large refrigerator/freezer, kettle, toaster, double sink, crockery, cutlery, pans etc. There is two-way air-conditioning in the bedrooms and living room, a hot water tank, wardrobes and other storage space, a television and DVD player with DVD library, a stereo CD player for your use.

Nazlet-El Samaan is perfectly located for the monumental area, horse and camel-riding and the world-famous Mena House Oberoi hotel, housing one of the finest Indian restaurants in the world (advance booking recommended). Kids will be delighted to discover horses, camels, donkeys and sheep meandering along outside your gate and you shouldn't miss an unforgettable ride into the desert where you will enjoy unique pyramid views. If you want to take a break and relax on a lounger we recommend day-use of the nearby Meridien Pyramids exotic, landscaped swimming pool. This colourful village is also a great location to get to everywhere else, being situated near the Alexandria Desert Road, the Saqqara Road (leading to the Saqqara step-pyramids and Memphis) and both ends of the Cairo Ring Road which provides easy access to the International Airport, the Citadel and scenic Al Azhar Park, Islamic Cairo, Down Town, Khan El Khalili and just about anywhere else you wish to go. We can offer plenty of local information including tips on getting around and how to self-cater while you are here, take-away food and shopping. Typical Cairo black and white taxis are easy to get in our area but you should bear in mind that they are not clean or air-conditioned, do not have seat belts nor do the meters operate so prices have to be negotiated. You may sometimes see taxi stands with yellow taxis (this service is not regularly available from our village) which are clean, air-conditioned and with very reasonable metered journeys. The drivers often speak a little English. Many locals use the white "micro-buses" to get around but you have to check the destination with the driver. Hiring a car yourself is also possible (Avis, Hertz etc). Bear in mind that sign-posting is inconsistent throughout Cairo and driving habits are rather wild! We can supply a car with driver as necessary during your stay.
