Villamartin is one of the best location for golf in the Costa Blanca.  Villamartin as well as being an ideal destination for the family with a selection of wonderful sandy beaches within a short drive, is a Mecca for golfers.  Villamartin has a selection of 3 golf courses within a 15 minute radius, all of a high standard.  Our Villamartin villas are located in quite residential areas along with our Villamartin holiday apartments, but near to all the required holiday facilities, i.e. blue-flag beaches, championship golf courses, tennis, water sports, aqua parks, and go-carting.  This alone makes a holiday in Villamartin perfect.  Ten minutes walk from a large shopping complex (the Villamartin Plaza), a large selection of restaurants and bars.  Torrevieja, a 15 minutes drive away, is a beautiful Spanish town, boasting a marina, waterfront market, street entertainment, shops, numerous cafes, bistros, restaurants, bars, and a beautiful church square. The superb palm-lined promenade and harbour board-walk are the ideal place to go for that evening stroll.  Villamartin is a wonderful holiday resort for couples and families alike.

The Villamartin Region of the Costa Blanca in Spain offers a wide range of holiday resorts to suit all ages and budgets.

Villamartin is popular with families, golfers and couples due to it's location in the centre of three championship golf courses and only 10 minutes from the sandy beaches of Cabo Roig, Villamartin, Campoamor & La Zenia. The renowned Villa Martin Plaza has a great selection of bars, shops and restaurants and is the ideal spot for that "special night out". This beautiful central square has a bank, supermarket, shops, cafes and some excellent restaurants. The gardens are very picturesque, look closely and you will notice the naked lady golfer statue. Close to Villamartin are numerous un crowded beaches with magnificent views over the sparkling blue Mediterranean and the "white sand" that are typical of the Costa Blanca. The beaches along the coastline close to Villamartin are Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, and Campoamor. All of these beaches and all the other major beaches along this part of the Mediterranean coastline are regularly awarded the European Blue Flag which is your guarantee of high standards and facilities for the whole family. Villa Martin is situated about 8 kilometres south of the bustling town of Torrevieja on the southern Costa Blanca and is just a short drive from the motorway (AP-7).

Villamartin enjoys a wonderful climate, one of the most temperate region in the whole of Spain. The area enjoys well over 300 days of sun each year and has an average temperature of approximately 20 degrees. There is very little rainfall in Villamartin and what does fall occurs mostly during the winter months. May and October are excellent months to visit with warm temperatures, but the real heat arrives in July and August when temperatures can reach 40 degrees. Ideal for those beach lovers.

Villamartin is also a popular retreat for those with a passion for golf, there are three fantastic golf course within a 10 - 15 minute drive at Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas and La Finca.

 Just 45 minutes from Alicante Airport and 25 minutes from Murcia airport and with a huge number of cheap flights from UK and European airports every day, this makes taking a Villamartin holiday villa or apartment rental so popular.
